Politics everywhere is turning sour. In the United States Kamala Harris declares that she will legalize marijuana to help Black men improve their lives by selling it. The Trudeau Liberals mail out cheques in an attempt to popularize the Carbon Tax. In British Columbia David Eby promised cheques to everyone in the province if they would only re-elect him. What is going on? Why are citizens falling for these short-sighted ploys to allow bad governments to hold on to power? We need fewer cheques being written and better government!
