John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

The Word mentioned in the gospel of John is Jesus. We will never be able to overcome the struggles in this life when operating outside of rest; when operating out of self effort. We need to rest in Him and the let Him, the Word, do the work in us and through us.
