Let's dive into the heart of today’s musings: Rejection.
Previously, I've brushed upon the notion that rejection can be divine safeguarding. It’s a thought that can anchor us when the seas of denial storm our hearts – be it professional stonewalling, personal distance, or romantic dissolution. Having navigated through the storm of a breakup myself, yearning for friendship with an ex, I’ve felt the sting of rejection. It's in these moments I've learned to don a different lens – to view rejection not as a blockade but as a redirection from above.
During a contemplative stroll with my faithful companion, Paco, an epiphany struck. A story, courtesy of Insight Timer by Lai Tattis, unearthed a new understanding of rejection – not as a setback, but as an essential phase of personal evolution. Just as trees don't lament their fallen leaves but rather rest and steel themselves for new growth, we too can use rejection to fortify our spirits and nourish our souls.
It's an undeniable human condition to employ coping strategies against life's tempests – be it through substances, work, or other distractions. But these are mere life rafts, not the vessels we are destined to command. It's time to acknowledge these aids for their temporary sanctuary, but also to recognize that they do not define us.
We are, in essence, resilient souls piloting an extraordinary human vessel. And while the narrative of our lives is penned with many chapters, it's important to remember that these are mere passages, not the entirety of our story. It's time to turn the page, to free ourselves from the chains of bygone chapters that no longer serve our voyage.
Are you ready to chart a new course? It's a challenging endeavor, but one that I am passionately pursuing. And though old patterns may sometimes resurface, my resolve to steer towards a better horizon remains unshaken.
Letting Yourself Be Found:
Allow me to share a profound letter, a voice from the past, recorded in 1998 by Gangi. It recounts a tale from a Brazilian woman's confrontation with fear and the liberation found in surrendering to being 'found'. Her journey – a metaphor for our own quests in life, where we are often blinded by our own expectations and efforts. This story is a poignant reminder that sometimes, what we seek is already before us, if only we choose to stop and truly see.
Manifestation:
And finally, a word on manifestation. It is a practice rooted firmly in the present, demanding our awareness and recognition of how our desires unfold, often layering over time in ways we don't anticipate. It's intertwined with our personal growth, our readiness to accept, trust, and release our grip on the helm to let the currents take us where we are meant to go.
Thank you for joining me on this voyage today. As we look forward to the chapters ahead, may we all find strength in the rejections that reroute us and peace in the stories that are waiting to be written. Until next time, keep believing that everything, indeed, is for you.
