The swine industry has many commonalities with the cattle industry. Dr. Harry Snelson is the Executive Director of the American Association of Swine Veterinarians (AASV). In this episode we learn about the AASV organization and discuss its initiatives and benefits. We also discuss African Swine Fever and its potential impacts on the swine industry as well as how the COVID-19 pandemic caused market disruptions. Dr. Snelson also discusses depopulation issues including the use of ventilation shutdown plus.
