Internet fails when needed most is a phrase that we can all relate to. We’ve all been there when we needed something from the internet and it just wouldn’t load. Whether it’s the news, a website, or a video, it can be incredibly frustrating when the internet fails us.
Jim Mallard, the host of the Mallard Report, experienced this firsthand when he was looking for news stories to discuss on his show. He was specifically looking for odd news stories, but when he checked the Huffington Post, the top story was from 2017. Not only was this old news, but it also made Jim look like a clown in front of his live virtual audience.
Jim wasn’t the only one who experienced internet failure that night. The Duck Pond, a live streaming platform, was also having issues. Jim had to wait for the page to reload before he could continue his show. He also had trouble loading a story about a missing clouded leopard in Dallas. It wasn’t until he checked the date that he realized the story was from January of that year.
Internet fails can be incredibly annoying, especially when you need the internet to work the most. It can be even more frustrating when you’re trying to do something live, like Jim was. Thankfully, the internet eventually loaded and Jim was able to finish his show. But it’s a reminder of how unreliable the internet can be, and how it can fail us when we need it most.
## Six more weeks of winter.
Recently, Jim was discussing the story of a data scientist who believes he’s solved the mystery of Bigfoot. He believes that many of the sightings of the creature could actually be black bears walking on their hind legs. He also believes that if there was a Bigfoot, there would be as many black bears as well. But there are two exceptions to his theory, as there have been sightings in Texas and Florida with little to no bear population.
One of the questions Jim was asked was about the lack of snow in many areas this winter. While some may be enjoying not having to shovel, this lack of snow could cause a lack of water in the northeast and midwest. Jim mentioned that one inch of snow is worth about 10 inches of rainfall, so this lack of snow could be concerning.
Jim also discussed Punxsutawney Phil, the groundhog from Pennsylvania who is known for predicting the weather. Every year, people gather to watch Phil and determine if he will see his shadow or not. This year, Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, so it looks like we have a bit more cold weather to look forward to.
In conclusion, the internet can be unreliable, but thankfully Jim was able to finish his show. The story of the data scientist and his theory about Bigfoot was interesting, and it was nice to hear Jim’s thoughts on the lack of snow this winter. Lastly, Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter, so it looks like we have a bit more cold weather to look forward to.
## Don’t embezzle chicken wings.
This week on Jim’s show, he discussed an interesting story about a woman in suburban Chicago who embezzled 1.5 million dollars in chicken wings. The story raised many questions, such as how she managed to steal so much and where the wings ended up. Jim also discussed the world record for face fist bumps and the best hot dog he ever had in Chicago.
It is important to remember that embezzling is never a good idea. It is illegal and can have serious consequences. Even if the person is desperate for money, they should find another way to get it. There are many legitimate ways to make money and it is not worth the risk to steal.
In addition, it is important to remember that stealing from a school district is especially wrong. Schools are already struggling financially and stealing from them only ma...
