The Minnesota Wild earned a hard fought 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday night to finish off their 7 game homestand at 4-2-1. The Wild thought they had an early lead thanks to Adam Beckman's first career NHL goal, but the Kings successfully challenged the play being offsides and the goal was wiped off the board. After a scoreless first period, the Wild got the scoring started thanks to a goal from Ryan Hartman to make it 1-0. Hartman would add another goal in the third to make it 2-0, and other than a late goal from Adrian Kempe, the Kings would not be able to get the answer. Filip Gustavsson stopped 33 of 34 shots for his 15th win of the season, and the Wild next head to Columbus on Thursday.
