The Minnesota Wild were beaten by the Florida Panthers 5-3 Saturday Night. The Panthers scored 2 goals to bookend the first and second period on turnovers in the Wild defensive zone. The Wild cut the deficit to 2-1 on a Power Play goal from Matt Boldy, but the Panthers scored on a Ryan Hartman penalty to reclaim the 2 goal edge. The Wild made it 3-2 on a Power Play goal for Joel Eriksson Ek, but the Panthers once again reclaimed a 2 goal lead. After a goal for Jared Spurgeon with the extra attacker, the Panthers added an empty net goal to seal the win. The Wild play next at Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
