The Minnesota Wild exploded for 8 goals in an 8-5 win over the St. Louis Blues to improve their point streak to a franchise record 14 games. The Wild trailed 3-1 after a lackluster first period, but scored 5 times in the second and Jordan Binnington was chased from the net early on after nearly fighting Marc-Andre Fleury. The Wild got goals from Joel Eriksson Ek, two goals from Ryan Hartman, Ryan Reaves, Mason Shaw, Oskar Sundqvist, John Klingberg and Alex Goligoski. Marc-Andre Fleury limited the Blues to 2 goals after the first period, and made 31 saves on 36 shots. The Wild host Boston on Saturday for their next game.
