Surf Report - Portland Oregon

Long Beach Washington and Portland, OR Surf Report for 02-12-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, coastal adventurers! Today's looking like a picture-perfect day along the Pacific Northwest coastline with mostly sunny skies and a solid 5 to 7-foot surf. Long Beach, Washington and the Oregon coast are serving up some seriously sweet conditions for wave watchers and beach enthusiasts.

Expect east winds hovering around 9 to 11 miles per hour, creating clean conditions that'll make surfers and photographers equally happy. Temperatures will hover around a crisp 45 degrees - perfect for layering up and enjoying the coastal scenery.

But hold onto your board shorts because Thursday's bringing a dramatic shift! We're looking at beefier 6 to 9-foot swells with a powerful west swell rolling in at 15 seconds. Lincoln City's forecast even hints at potentially larger 7 to 10-foot waves that'll get serious surfers buzzing.

The weather's transforming from sunny to cloudy with rain, and winds will kick up significantly - expect southeast breezes between 16 to 23 miles per hour. Temperatures will drop slightly to around 40 to 45 degrees.

Pro tip from your local weather crew: these waters are NOT for the faint of heart. Cold water, sneaker waves, and rip currents are real threats. Remain vigilant, keep your distance from the water's edge, and never turn your back on the ocean.

Sunrise kicks off around 7:20 AM and sunset will paint the sky around 5:40 PM. Stay safe, stay stoked, and enjoy nature's raw beauty!
