As thrilling and excited as it is to fall in love, losing in love can make you feel like your heart is being ripped from your chest. The loss can open the emotional floodgates and consume your very existence. Keep the faith, strength will return. You are worthy of love.

NO LONGER IN LOVE

I sit quietly 

And reminisce 

About the things we used to do. 

The talks we used to have 

And how we were aligned 

Within one another’s minds. 

It doesn’t happen anymore. 

Did we grow apart 

Or 

Were we torn apart? 

I don’t really have an answer for it. 

I hope at some point, 

We’ll both learn to love again. 

Even if it’s not each other.
