Es: El sol brillaba alto en el cielo de Barcelona, llenando el mercado local de luz y color.
En: The sun was shining high in the sky over Barcelona, filling the local market with light and color.

Es: El mercado estaba lleno de gente, olores y sonidos.
En: The market was full of people, smells, and sounds.

Es: Carlos, un turista de México, caminaba por el mercado.
En: Carlos, a tourist from Mexico, was walking through the market.

Es: A su lado, estaban Lucía y María, sus amigas de Barcelona.
En: Beside him were Lucia and Maria, his friends from Barcelona.

Es: Carlos estaba emocionado.
En: Carlos was excited.

Es: Quería comprar un recuerdo especial.
En: He wanted to buy a special souvenir.

Es: Vio una figura de cerámica en un puesto.
En: He saw a ceramic figure at a stall.

Es: Era una figura de un toro, pintada a mano.
En: It was a hand-painted bull figure.

Es: Carlos preguntó al vendedor, "¿Cuánto cuesta?"
En: Carlos asked the vendor, "How much does it cost?"
