This passage reminds us that creation wasn’t accidental—humanity was intentionally made in God’s image. Our worth isn’t based on accomplishment or approval, but on the divine likeness we carry. Though sin has distorted that image, it hasn’t erased it; Jesus came to restore what was lost. Advent invites us to remember that the God who formed the stars also formed us with purpose and delight. We are seen, valued, and still being shaped by the One who called creation “very good.”
