Andy Friedlander is the founder of one of the UK's best sporting events agencies an agency he built off the back of his TV and events presenting career. The Sports Presentation Company caught the eye of the large UK events company Smyle (who are backed by PE firm Rockpool) and the deal was closed in the summer of 2022 after nearly a year of courtship. Now the deal is done and TSPC has been successfully integrated in the larger Smyle business, Andy has shared his experience here with us and explains how to get the best kind of exit for your agency business including some of the pitfalls as well as the good stuff.
