Jeff and Elliotte are at the Sportsnet Grill in downtown Toronto for the podcast’s first live event. They start the evening as always by covering all the latest news around the NHL – and then a whole bunch of people just start . . . popping by.

First it’s Mikhail Grabovski, who spins some yarns, talks about his hockey challenge with Jeff and how he’s staying in the game. Then his former Maple Leafs GM, Brian Burke, and teammate, Colby Armstrong, join the show for something of a reunion.

Long-time broadcast executive John Shannon is next up. He discusses the future of hockey on TV and lets listeners into his world of owning an extensive collection of game programs. Caroline Cameron then takes the stage to reflect on her career going from intern to national host, as well as what it’s like working alongside noted contrarian Doug MacLean.

Finally, Jeff and Elliotte answer some #Ask31 questions from the crowd with . . . Doug MacLean. The former NHL GM and coach also reminisces about his big break, coaching Steve Yzerman and more.
