Dr Jacobs speaks with baseball and New York Yankees legend and musician Bernie Williams, best known for his four World Series Championship titles and five All-Star appearances all as one of the most beloved Yankees of all time! With MLB Opening Day quickly approaching, Bernie is opening up about his family’s experience with a rare and serious lung disease called idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) which ultimately took his dad’s life.

In honor of his father, Bernie has been on a mission to bring awareness and hope to all of those patients and families impacted by this disease. The national “Breathless” campaign aims to educate people about the symptoms of IPF and empower those who are experiencing symptoms to talk to their doctor to seek early diagnosis and treatment.

Bernie is also encouraging people to www.BreathlessIPF.com and help spread the word by sharing educational content and videos via Facebook, Twitter, and other social media channels using the hashtag #BreathlessIPF. Bernie's official website is www.bernie51.com.
