King’s version of the gospel was more influenced by a 20th-century German-American theologian from New York than by the Bible. Virgil’s conclusion: “King did not believe in the deity of Christ or that he rose from the dead. In addition, he also rejected the doctrines of virgin birth, the second coming of Christ, and the existence of a literal hell.” Pastor Anthony Walker and Professor Delano Squires join "Fearless" to debate Virgil’s assessment of the legacy of Dr. King.
