Today on the podcast I am very happy to have Mary N. Hasavari who is a writer and director with an international background which includes Thailand, Norway and Iran.

She received an MA in Filmmaking from The London Film School in 2015, but made her first film at the age of 16, a documentary about Norwegian Black-metal kids. Her film, BEFORE SPRING, was nominated to Best Short at five film festivals, among them, Oscar-qualifying Bogo shorts International film festival. She receiving Honorable mentioning at The Isle of Wight International Film Festival.

We talked about how she got into making film making, we also went into more detail about her documentary Black-metal Kids and which film she would love to remake.
