Sara Levitt was diagnosed at age 3 with ulcerative colitis, which progressed to Crohn’s disease by age 11. By age 13, she’d undergone emergency surgery and has since lived with a permanent ostomy bag. Sara has become a powerful voice in the modeling world, proudly walking runways, appearing in international magazines, and in two weeks, she’ll compete for Miss Universe Canada – she’s using the platform to raise awareness around chronic illness and mental health.
