Megan Maxwell explains her role as a research genetic counselor. She has experience in clinical, laboratory, sales, educational, and research settings. She is currently a Genetic Counselor Project Manager for The MilSeq Project at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. This research is conducted under the Genomes2People (G2P) Research Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, which is focused on the medical, behavioral, and economic implications of translational genomics and personalized genomic medicine, and the Air Force Personalized Medicine Program.
