Hong Kong kung fu star Jackie Chan has joined in the recording of a song called "Wake up winter". The song is used to promote Beijing's bid to host the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

The first group of people to hear the song includes the International Olympic Committee Evaluation Commission during their visit in Beijing this week.

Songwriter Wang Pingjiu says "Wake up winter" is a call to people around the world with an incessant eagerness for the Olympic Spirit and a longing for friendship between people and countries.

A large number of well-known musicians from home and abroad have been involved, including Zhao Jialin, one of the main composers for "Little Apple", which was China's most popular song last year.

Wake Up Winter n. 《叫醒冬天》2022年冬季奥林匹克运动会申办征集的特邀音乐作品。由王平久作词，赵佳霖作曲，成龙演唱。歌曲主要传达对世界和平的呼唤，唤醒每个人的奥运梦想，提高对冬奥的关注和参与度，让世界听到中华民族渴望冬奥、渴望和平友爱的声音。
