Sat down with one of Raleigh's artist, songwriter, graphic designer, and musician @katie.blvd. Talked about her favorite instrument out of the many she plays, music influences, first time performing original songs, the creation of @earthtones360, songwriting, the many hats she wears, Mos Def, and what we can expect of her in the next couple of months.

One of the co-founders of the multi-genre and inclusive rave series Party Illegal, as well as one of the prominent figures of Durham's electronic scene, Treee City blends techno, nostalgic R&B, and contemporary ambient beats for everyone to enjoy (even Santana can make an appearance.)

Treee City visited the Flux Creative Community Studio in Downtown Greensboro to talk about the soundtrack of his childhood, his way into electronic music, Party Illegal, his passing through Raundhaus + Maison Fauna, what are his future plans, and the records that keep him at peace.
