When most of us thinking of menswear style our default setting is to think of western nations as those tailoring styles dominate the world of menswear. However, there are 1.2 billion people living across Africa in 54 different countries each with their own unique style, color pallet, and fashion trends. That is more people than the US and Europe combined.

While designers from Africa might not dominate the menswear landscape, they most certainly have a voice and are doing things differently than the rest of the world in many ways.

Ezekiel Palmer is a prime example of the ingenuity and forward-thinking taking place within menswear style in Africa. Palmer is Zimbabwe-born, Australian Educated clothier based in Johannesburg who is working to elevate the global perception of menswear style in Africa.
