She expresses her excitement for Governor Tim Walz being chosen for the national ticket, and pushes his accomplishments in Minnesota regarding labor unions and school lunches. If the Harris/Walz ticket wins this fall, not only would Lt. Gov. Flanagan be the first woman of color leading the country for the first time, but she would also be the first Native American woman governing a state for the first time in U.S. history.
