Peter Riva has spent many months over thirty years traveling throughout Africa and Europe. Much of his time was spent with the legendary guides for East African hunters and adventurers. He created a TV series in 1995 called Wild Things for Paramount.

Passing on the fables, true tales, and insider knowledge of these last reserves of true wildlife is his passion and it comes out in his wildly entertaining  Mbuno and Pero Thriller series.

Kidnapped on Safari is the third book in the series. Peter Riva has created a gripping  international thriller that is a real page turner packed with adventure, suspense, and many plot twists.

The East African setting is an important component to the book just like L.A. is integral to Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch books.

Aside from writing international thrillers and science fiction, Peter has been a literary agent for over forty years. He has a lot of knowledge of the publishing industry from both sides of the table so I had a great talking to Peter about the business, writing, African adventures, and a lot more.
