French psych-rock duo Liminanas have just made an "imaginary road movie" album with techno DJ/ producer Laurent Garnier. Grant says it's good, but not as good as past work, so we hear a couple of their classic earlier tracks today, alongside a stone-cold roots reggae classic from The Royals and a mighty Africa-meets-Brooklyn collaboration between Fela Kuti and Roy Ayers.

Even if you don't recognise Aardman Animations by name we're certain you'll have fond memories of their work. Wallace and Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, Chicken Run - their stop-motion animations have resonated with people of all ages across generations. This week it was announced the University of Canterbury has struck a deal with their training wing, known as Aardman Academy. This deal will make Canterbury the only educational institution in the Pacific to specialise in stop-motion animation. Professor Kevin Watson, executive dean of arts at Canterbury University speaks to Jesse.
