A video version of this episode is also available at https://mwm.uscreen.io/ Known as the Genese River killer, Arthur Shawcross was a child killer, a serial killer, a rapist, and a cannibal. His first kills were two children, a boy and a girl. After only serving14 years, Shawcross was released in April 1987 and it would only be a year before he began to kill again. Between March 1988 and December 1989 Shawcross murdered at least 12 young women before a witness saw him at the scene of the last victim and he was reported to police.
