#narcissisticabuse in relationships & families, (and maybe leading to #domesticviolence) can ABSOLUTELY take an average drinker and catapult them into full blown #addictions around #alcohol & #drugs. Full stop. Yes you probably had the predisposition for it (adhd, anxiety, poor childhood or alcoholic parents) but a Narc will be determined to make you a snivelling broken shell & then be disgusted at you. I myself went sober at 9pm Tuesday 18th January. After almost a decade of daily binge drinking in an otherwise VERY healthy and high functioning life. Alcohol led me to drugs at times, promiscuity that led to my arrest, and terrible embarassing decisions around men, friends & money.
