So Instagram has done the dreaded deed and wiped their platform of ‘like’ counts for a handful of countries across the globe. What does this mean? How will this affect us? How is it affecting me? I admit to some of my own insecurities around self-esteem and how likes have affected that. I also take into consideration the concerns surrounding the broad consequences that this update will have on influencers, models, B2B/B2C businesses, brands and ‘grammers’ overall.
