Nathan Samuelson is a trumpet player and vocalist who guest entertains on cruises across the world. His sound is jazz, but with a pop sensibility. Nathan has studied under master teachers such as Dominic Spera, Alan Hood, and his mentor --international trumpeter and producer Gary Guthman. Nathan’s singing is reminiscent of the classic crooners of the 20th century, which complements his smooth, melodic and hip trumpet style. Nathan has shared the stage with world class artists such as late soul icon Clem Curtis of “Build Me Up Buttercup” fame, and New Zealand's esteemed lyric tenor, Ben Makisi. After nearly twenty-two years of honing his craft, Nathan launched his debut album in August 2018. “City Lights Ahead” is a genre-bending love letter to the open sea, and the starry embrace of the shore after a dark, stormy night.
