NBA All-Star Darius Garland played four games at Vanderbilt University as a freshman before an injury ended his college career.  Surgery, rehab, and perseverance lead to an incredible comeback and being chosen as the number FIVE draft pick in the NBA at only 19 years old.   Darius is now a top-point guard in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers, earned All-star honors his second year in the league, and is officially one of the highest-paid players in the NBA.  His mom Felicia and host Jennifer Vickery Smith have been friends since Darius was in middle school, and their boys attended school together.  Enjoy this conversation with Felicia Garland.
