Episode 299 – Netflix time with Jupiter’s Legacy & Shadow and Bone

So here we are, only one episode from the epic 300th. This episode will be monumental as it will be our first call-in episode. Enough of that though, let’s talk about 299. Netflix is releasing show after show after show. And in between watching The Bad Batch on Disney Plus, we managed to squeeze in 2 new shows. One of those shows was Shadow and Bone.

There are 8 episodes but we only cover the first 2. Some one on the podcast has seen the whole series. We have fun with this one as there seems to be a difference in opinions with this show. We give a review of the show, spoiler-free. Shadow and Bone is a series of books that goes through the Netflix treatment and here at Podcast4Scifi we give it the run down. On to the next one. In comes Jupiter’s Legacy, from the comic world. Netflix is adopting this Image comic into a series.

The streaming world is filled with superhero shows and movies so we lean into this one to see if it makes the cut. Recently released, this 8 episode series hits the ground running. Here at Podcast4Scifi we make sure to give the show it’s due process. We covered the first 2 episodes and we had plenty to say. The question is was good or bad? Who liked it and who didn’t? Is this show a hit? Does it do the comic right? As you can see, there is a lot of questions and we do our best to answer them.
