How we prepare our older child when we have a new baby and how we handle the transition can either set our kids up to be friends for life- OR set them up to be rivals.

Whenever I talk about this with adults, someone usually says either, "Oh yeah- my older sibling still resents me" or "I never got along with my younger sibling." 

If we want the transition to be as smooth as it can be and as easy on our older child(ren) as possible- there is A LOT we can do to make it work out best.
