New Jersey and Delaware Surf Report for 03-30-2025

Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers! As we wrap up the 2024 beach forecast season, the Jersey Shore and Delaware coastline are serving up some moody maritime vibes today.

Expect a moderate rip current risk across all our coastal zones, so swimmers and surfers need to stay alert. The surf's running a consistent 2 to 3 feet with northeast winds whipping around 15 to 20 miles per hour - perfect for those windswept beach selfies.

Water temperatures are dancing between the mid to upper 60s, with Delaware beaches enjoying slightly warmer waters in the lower 70s. Grab a light wetsuit if you're planning to catch some waves.

The skies are playing a cloudy game today. Eastern Monmouth near Sandy Hook will see some partly sunny breaks, while Atlantic City, Cape May, and Delaware beaches are leaning more toward mostly cloudy conditions with a whisper of potential rain.

High temperatures will hover in the upper 60s to lower 70s - cool enough for a cozy beach hoodie but warm enough to enjoy some shoreline time. UV index is sitting at moderate, so sunscreen is still your friend.

Tide watchers, mark your calendars! Morning high tides roll in between 6:25 and 7:17 AM, with low tides hitting around midday. Sunrise ranges from 6:50 to 6:55 AM, with sunset closing the day between 6:42 and 6:47 PM.

A heads up - this is the final surf zone forecast for the 2024 season. So whether you're a surfer, swimmer, or just a beach enthusiast, soak in these last moments of coastal magic!

Stay safe, stay stoked, and enjoy the end-of-season shore vibes!
