Listen Later

Surf's up, beach lovers! The Jersey Shore and Delaware coast are serving up a mixed bag of conditions today.

Eastern Monmouth and Sandy Hook are looking at a moderate rip current risk with waves between 2 to 3 feet. Expect cloudy skies with some fog and drizzle, temperatures hovering around 70 degrees. Those east winds will be blowing around 10 mph, so keep your hair tied back.

Long Beach Island is keeping things chill with smaller 1 to 2 foot swells. Similar cloudy conditions with a chance of drizzle and temperatures creeping into the lower 70s. Wednesday promises a bit more excitement with a moderate chance of thunderstorms.

Atlantic City and Coastal Atlantic are riding similar waves - 1 to 2 foot swells and mostly cloudy skies. Water temperatures are sitting around 60 degrees, so you might want that wetsuit. The good news? High UV index means sunscreen is your best friend.

Down in Cape May and Ocean City, things are slightly calmer with a low rip current risk. Expect 1 to 2 foot waves and temperatures in the mid-70s. Fog and drizzle will keep things cool in the morning.

Delaware beaches are wrapping up our forecast with around 1 foot waves today, bumping up to 2 to 3 feet tomorrow. Water's warm at 70 degrees, and Wednesday looks mostly sunny with a slight chance of thunderstorms.

Across the board, Wednesday brings a moderate thunderstorm potential, so keep an eye on those skies. Stay safe, stay smart, and enjoy those beach vibes!
