Tesla announced its next-generation Supercharger, V4, which will enable charging speeds of up to 500kW for cars and 1.2MW for the Semi. V4s are faster, more efficient, and more powerful than the previous V3s, meaning Tesla vehicles will charge faster, with a higher number of slots per cabinet, and higher energy density. The company plans to install these Superchargers in new locations and begin operating them in 2025.
