In her first novel Haunted Secrets (published by AuthorHouse), debut author Sandra LaBruce transports readers to a forgotten land, where a determined spirit has been waiting to reveal the ominous truth about a lost heritage and a forbidden love that has been shrouded in darkness for more than a century.

Sandra LaBruce grew up in rural South Carolina, always captivated by fiction’s excitement and mystery of the unknown. She and her cousin and made up many stories to act out as children, pretending to be whatever they wanted for hours on end. Unfortunately, adult life isn’t that simple, but as a writer, LaBruce can become that child again and live out her own fantasies. LaBruce has been married for more than 33 years and has two sons, four stepchildren and 23 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, going to the beach and caring for animals. Haunted Secrets is her first official publication.
