NYC emergency room Doc Craig Spencer on the Trump Covid fiasco

Our guest today is Dr. Craig Spencer MD MPH, the Director of Global Health in Emergency Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. Craig is an emergency room doctor who divides his time between providing clinical care in New York City and working internationally in public health as a member of the board of directors of Doctors Without Borders US. Craig is also a Covid expert, having personally worked on scores of patients in NYC over the past seven months, particularly during the really awful period beginning at the end of March, and you may have seen him on CNN talking about the Coronavirus and US policy. Finally, you might also remember Craig as the guy who went to Guinea to fight Ebola a few years back, and unknowingly brought the disease back to NYC, causing quite a scare. 

We talk to Craig about Covid, what is was like as an emergency room doc in NYC during the peak of the crisis, Trump's response to the crisis, Ebola, and whether there's any hope on the horizon with regards to vaccines and more. It was a surprisingly fun talk, and quite informative as well. I think you'll like it.
