Jason Baumann, the New York Public Library coordinator of humanities and LGBTQ collections, discusses editing The Stonewall Reader, which coincides with "Love and Resistance: Stonewall 50," the NYPL exhibition he has curated on the Stonewall uprising and gay liberation movement of 1969. Baumann will be joined by Perry Brass, a contributor to the Stonewall Reader and a leader of the Gay Liberation Front.
EVENT: On June 25 at the Barnes & Noble Union Square, Jason Baumann will appear on a panel with Christopher Measom, Mason Funk, and Charles Kaiser, moderated by Bill Goldstein.

ALL OF IT will be both companion for and curator of the myriad culture this city has to offer. In the words of Cristina De Rossi, anthropologist at Barnet and Southgate College, London:


"Culture encompasses religion, food, what we wear, how we wear it, our language, marriage, music, what we believe is right or wrong, how we sit at the table, how we greet visitors, how we behave with loved ones, and a million other things."


...In other words, ALL OF IT.
