Here's your history lesson for the day:

OUTSPOKEN actually started off as a "social action" project for one of my final classes in undergrad! God allowed me to sit with the idea for a while before revealing that it was more than just a project...it was destined to be a PODCAST and PLATFORM for folks to discuss living in the real world while trying to live for a real God.

Sometimes I have difficulty discerning the voice of God (despite how many Bible plans I've completed on how to do so) and it's hard to know what the "right" things to do are when there are so many valid thoughts, ideas, and opinions on how we should operate in any given situation. On OUTSPOKEN, this is why we are instructed to focus on Biblical Standards for living a righteous life. Together, we'll work to address the forces at work to distract us from how God expects us to operate, and develop a game plan so we can move forward and closer to who He's called us to be.

This journey isn't easy, that's why I'm excited that we'll get to navigate it together :)
