Nahum 1-3

Our world often seems overwhelmed by violence and conflict. The news of Charlie Kirk's assassination is just one among countless tragedies we face daily. It can become so overwhelming that we might avoid watching the news altogether, feeling the evil is too great. As a single Christian, what can we do to combat such evil? Will justice ever prevail? Where is God amidst all this chaos? These questions are not new. The prophet Nahum addressed similar concerns when Judah struggled under the oppression of the Assyrian Empire. Though small in size, the Minor Prophets are large in truth. They want us to remember that a day is coming when the Lord will return and judge the unrighteous and bless the righteous.
