Everybody thinks there 2 cents is worth a dollar. Facts and opinions are not always reconcilable and at times opinions are not even valid for making an argument. We get emotionally attached to the things we believe in and attempt to protect ourselves by saying that all opinions are equal to facts or that your opinion should at least be respected. I could not disagree more with that type of thinking.

People love to throw distractions into conversations when they don't' know what the hell they are talking about or if they are only looking to affirm their initial point of view.  Don't let people take control of an argument by leading you away from the point being made.   Most times by introducing a new and totally irrelevant topic to now debate. Why you would want to chase after a stinky red herring anyhow?  It's one of the oldest tricks in the book but can still be effective if you are not paying attention.

As children we call everyone a friend that we talk to on a regular occasion. As we grow older these relationships becoming more meaningful which requires more careful selection and consideration to the people that we call a friend. Of course it is important to have friends but how important are they really in our lives. Do they lose culpability due to friendship or should we judge them the hardest as they are the closest to us. What is a Friend Anyways?

No one knows everything about everything. Sometimes we know nothing when it comes to certain topics. Seems like a basic concept yet many struggle to come to terms with it. It is ok to be ignorant. Ignorance is the first step to knowledge.  The absence of sufficient evidence should never be the reason that you make a decision. If you find yourself in a situation with insufficient information or evidence, use the information you have to make the best decision instead of an uninformed one.

How did we get here. There used to be a time when politicians where just regular corrupt lol. We now live in a time where government and politics are so dividing. There is so much obstruction based on what party is presenting an idea. Nothing is getting done. Trump didn't start this but he took full advantage. What are we to do? A Lot of cliches come from real truths.  The reason that they exist is because they were common concepts to life's curves. The path to success is sometimes found through the most simple principles.
