"I have a first date on Saturday night and promised myself I wouldn't Google the guy because I wanted to go in with an open mind. My curiosity got the best of me so I decided to look him up. Wow. He was once arrested and was bashed pretty hard by several ex-girlfriends online. This shocked me because now he has a good job and is not at all like his former girlfriends have described him. Some of my friends think I should cancel the date while others say I should go for it. I'm confused. Can a person's past define the future? Is it possible for a person to change?
