"I recently celebrated my 35th birthday and am living my best life. I've got a wonderful fiance, a successful and lucrative career, and a wonderful family. On Friday, I received a phone call from my biological mother. She gave me up just weeks after I was born. I consider my adoptive mother and father my real parents. My biological mom asked me for help. She's lost just about everything and said she contacted me because she has nowhere else to turn and needs help. I had never spoken to my biological mother before Friday.
