On the fifth volume of “The Great One Piece Readthrough” we go through the next five volumes of One Piece in three segments with hosts Zach and Ed! It’s time to go through the Jaya story arc and the Skypiea arc in one shot (two shots!)!

First, we go through the volumes in our non-spoilery segment: “The Read Line” with special guest Sam Leach (editorial writer for The One Piece Podcast‘s “Sam’s Piece” and One Piece episode reviewer at ANN) and Stephen Paul (translator for One Piece in Weekly Shonen Jump). After that, we look at the little hidden gems and how things have changed in our segment that includes some spoilers “The Reverie.” Finally, we go interview current One Piece editor Alexis Kirsch, his thoughts on this arc and the current arc in our “Interview Time” segment. This segment also contains some big spoilers, so skip to the end if you want to remain spoiler-free!
