Dan Lanning wrapped up year 1 in Eugene with a Holiday Bowl victory to end the year with a 10-3 record. Now heading into year 2, when several past Oregon coaches have had a "pop" year like Chip Kelly and Mario Cristobal, the ceiling with the new roster additions for this season is pretty high.

With the position Oregon was in to make the College Football Playoff in 2022 prior to a pair of late season stumbles, the Ducks should readily expect to at least be in that conversation once again.

Last year's "14J" jumbo package was highly effective for the Ducks featuring extra offensive linemen and tight ends. Oregon's personnel, specifically at the tight end position, might make it challenging to recreate the success that formation had a season ago.
