The Source Connection

Owls, Magic, and Rehab, with very special guest, Gordy Hamil

Listen Later

This episode is so rich and chocked full of gems and invitations for you to know yourself more deeply and initiate the magic that exists inside of and all around you. Gordy Hamil is an owl whisper, a shaman, a fellow ungovernable being, and an explorer of self and the magic of the Universe. Out of rehab in 2018, Gordy shifted his life dramatically to match his inner calling of more health on all levels of his being. He has walked through many a dark night and lives now to remind us how resilient and incredible we are. Gordy shares with us his beautiful connection and real life with his owl family, and all that he has learned from having them as partners. Owls are messengers in most traditions, and they say to him, “Be open, you are spirit.” In rehab, Gordy talks about having to identify with the label of being an “addict,” the limitations of this, and what else might be possible on a path of recovery. Gordy, Liz and Tarah explore together the wonder, magic, and curiosity of the world we are co-creating and receiving moment by moment. They also discuss trauma in the body, identifying with anything as a limitation, and their personal hypnosis experiences. Give yourself permission to “start from scratch” as you listen to this episode, and be curious about what else might also be possible for YOU. Gordy leaves us with this, “When in doubt, burn sage and ask.” You can find more of Gordy here: IG: @gordy_two_shoes YouTube: @Gordy Two Shoes Share with us here, or email us at [email protected].
