Some people are unaware that unemployment compensation is taxable income but it is not considered earned income. We also discuss how tax preparation services such as H&R Block, Libery Tax, Jackson Hewitt, etc. are NOT responsible for any errors on your tax return. Ann shares a story about how one of her clients currently owes the IRS thousands of dollars because a tax "professional" neglected to report all of their income.
