Fresh off of the massively successful Final Fantasy VII, SquareSoft set off to further establish their legacy as one of the PlayStation's best developers. While their sci-fi RPG, Parasite Eve, took plenty of cues from their existing catalog, it set out to blaze a trail of its own by bringing together genre-bending gameplay and impressive cinematic flair.
