S1 Episode 5 Part 1: Stephen Lankester-Cox

Stephen Lankester-Cox went missing November 18, 2004. He was last seen leaving his mother’s house where he resided in Acworth, Georgia. As he was leaving, he told his mother that he wouldn’t be gone too long. Police suspected foul play was involved almost immediately as rumors swirled around the community about Stephen being murdered. No body was ever found and no suspects have been charged with his disappearance or murder. Police have stated that this is a criminal investigation and continue to investigate leads.

Joshua Sharpe of the Atlanta Journal Constitution spent three years investigating the twists and turns of this perplexing case. Josh was interviewed in this episode about his findings in his investigation of Stephen’s disappearance. Josh also shared his theories as to what really happened to Stephen Lankester-Cox.
