Ronnie Kashyap was born without an immune system. Even a cold, an inconvenience at for other kids, was considered life threatening for Ronnie. Diagnosed with severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), he spent the first few months of his life in the hospital while doctors worked to find an effective treatment.
